■ Ethel E. Cikler, 78, Fruita, died Aug. 23, 2012, at Family Health West.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Ms. Cikler was a supply technician at the Grand Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherrie Torrington and Terrie Koch, both of Grand Junction; one brother, Benjamin White of Fruita; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

■ Valene L. Howe, 89, Grand Junction, died Aug. 22, 2012, at Mesa Manor Care Center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 8 at Redlands United Methodist Church.

Ms. Howe was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Rick of Grand Junction; one daughter, Pat Hurst of Centennial; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

■ Zander Kubick, infant, Grand Junction, died Aug. 22, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

A private family service is planned at a later date.

Survivors include his parents, Christina Kubick of Grand Junction and Kyle Harvey of Fort Smith, Ark.; one brother, Braxtyn Harvey of Grand Junction; one sister, Kylynn Harvey of Grand Junction; and his grandparents, Mike and Maggie Harvey of Grand Junction, Angie Richardson of Fort Smith and Noma Brandon of Kentucky.

■ Audrey Weiss, 86, Grand Junction, died Aug. 24, 2012, at her home.

Ms. Weiss was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Shelly Weiss of Grand Junction and Carrie Weiss-Berg of Gardnerville, Nev.; one brother, Ken Mailman of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and one grandchild.

■ Edward B. Williams, 93, Grand Junction, died Aug. 19, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

A private family service is planned at a later date.

Mr. Williams was a mining heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Arthur of Clovis, Calif., and Michael of Sparks, Nev.; one daughter, Linda Malone of Bakersville, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
