■  Avedis “Jack” Ajarian, 66, Grand Junction, died Aug. 22, 2013, at his home.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday with services to follow at 10 a.m. at Martin Mortuary.

Survivors include four sons, Antranik of Gunnison, Dikran and Shant, both of Las Vegas and Antranik of Glendale, Calif.; two daughters, Danielle Sylvia of Grand Junction and Tanya Ajarian of Glendale, Calif.; three brothers, Menas “Mitch” Ajarian of Grand Junction, Vasken Ajarian of Las Vegas and Maurice Ajarian; and one sister, Ayda “Jackie” Ajarian of Grand Junction.

Angelina “Angie” Garcia, 80, of Grand Junction, died Aug. 25, 2013, at her home.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Charles of Tempe, Ariz., and Carl of Grand Junction; three daughters, Cathy Garcia and Cyndi Garcia-Kirby, both of Grand Junction, and Connie Runnestrand of Fruita; two brothers, Joe Candelaria of Tonnco, Wash., and Alex Candelaria of Denver; five sisters, Kathy Ochoa and Della Trujillo, both of Albuquerque, N.M., Rose Campas of Bakersfield, Calif., Miller Lopez of Moab, Utah, and Hellen Chenoweth of Grand Junction; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Gloria H. Garlitz, 88, Grand Junction, died Aug. 24, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Cremation will take place.

Survivors include three sisters, Joyce Self and Eva M. Park, both of Grand Junction; and Mary Pearl Skelton of Wichita, Kan.

Aloha L. Gillard, 91, Grand Junction, died Aug. 22, 2013, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary with burial at 3:30 p.m. at Battlement Mesa Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, John of Garland, Texas, Charles of Boulder and Alan of Oroville, Calif.; one sister, Esther Margonis of Grand Junction; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Joseph “Joe” J. Lehr, 64, of Grand Junction, died Aug. 25, 2013, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Lehr was the owner and operator of a hardware business.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine; two sons, Joe Lehr and Kevin Eardley, both of Grand Junction;  his mother, Mary Lehr of Grand Junction; and one sister, Cathy Frederick of Grand Junction.

Memorial contributions to the Grand Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Community Living Center, 2121 North Ave., Grand Junction 81501.

Gordon A. MacDonald, 62, died Aug. 26, 2013, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Legacy Funeral Home.

Mr. MacDonald was a pipe fitter.

Survivors include two sons, Franklyn and Gordon; and two daughters, Glacia Peck and Tammy Joseph.

Amelia June Davis Marriott Newman, 73, Grand Junction, died Aug. 22, 2013, at her home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 3 at Clifton Vineyards Church.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Marriott of Grand Junction and Rowley Marriott of Pueblo; one daughter, Rita Park of Grand Junction; two brothers, Ray Davis of Dallas, Texas, and Gary Berridge of Grand Junction; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Wilfred Allen Romkee, 87, Clifton, died Aug. 25, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Visitation will be at noon with services to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Martin Mortuary. Burial will follow at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Romkee was a carpet installer.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; one son, Dale of Grand Junction; seven daughters, Kathy Britton of Longmont, Diane Montano of Palisade, Linda Franklin of Grand Junction, Joanna Davis of Glenwood Springs, Sandra Hopson of Care Coral, Fla., Bonnie Harbaugh of Longmont and Tammie Scfcovic of Rifle; one brother, Keith of Santa Clara, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Virgil W. Watson, 66, Grand Junction, died Aug. 23, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Clifton Christian Church.

Mr. Watson worked in automobile sales.

Survivors include one brother, Allen of Palisade.
