■ Leonard E. Davis, 89, Paonia, died July 31, 2012, at his home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Paonia Friends Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Steven of Paonia, Jack of Rifle and David of Crawford; one daughter, Janet Kinser of Battle Ground, Wash.; one brother, Eddie Davis of Nampa, Idaho; one sister, Annie Friedell of Santa Barbara, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, P.O. Box 24, Delta 81416.

■ Clifford L. “Shady” Lane, 89, Eckert, died Aug. 1, 2012, at Horizon’s Care Center in Eckert.

Services will be at a later date through Taylor Funeral Service.

Survivors include three sons, Dennis of Eckert, Mike of Lynden, Wash., and Dale of Rangely; one brother, Arnold Owens of Golden Shores, Ariz.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
