■ Ivan Paul Arbogast Jr., 89, Grand Junction, died Aug. 10, 2012, at his home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 599 30 Road.

Survivors include his wife, Nina; two sons, John and Kevin; one daughter, Kathi McVern; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado or Crossroads United Methodist Church.

■ Doris E. Brenton, 78, Hesperia, Calif., died Feb. 19, 2012, at her home.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Delta City Cemetery in Delta.

Survivors include a son, Matthew of Hesperia; two daughters, Diana Lynn Brenton of Riverside, Calif., and Roxanna Bea Manjarrez of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Dennis Blickenstaff of San Jose, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

■ Paul G. Linden, 90, Grand Junction, died Aug. 8, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.

No formal service will be held.

Survivors include his wife, Jane; two sons, Bob Linden and David Bush; four daughters, Karen Linden and Cheryl Linden, Carol Bush and Laura Barslund; and four grandchildren.

■ Gary Willis Rash, 64, Grand Junction, died Aug. 7, 2012, at his home.

Interment with military honors will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, followed by a memorial service at The General Assembly Church of the Firstborn, 3150 B Road.

Mr. Rash was a uranium miner.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred “June”; three sons, Lloyd of Fruita, Jason of St. George, Utah, and Justin of Montrose; two daughters, Sandra Madsen of Clifton and Joyce Archuleta of Grand Junction; two brothers, Jess of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Robert of Burl, Utah; a sister, Susan Orecchio of Brighton; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

■ A.J. “Jim” Shaw, 84, Grand Junction, died Aug. 9, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

A celebration of life will be Friday through Martin Mortuary. Time is pending.

Mr. Shaw was a minister at Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Vieva; two sons, Randall of Grand Junction and Kenneth of Phoenix; two daughters, Verda Yvonne Malone of Grand Junction and Rita Marie O’Dell of Fruita; a brother, Larry of Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
