■ Owen Lowell “Buddy” Jacobs, 87, Hotchkiss, died Dec. 20, 2012, at Paonia Care Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Hotchkiss. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Hotchkiss.

Survivors include his wife, Vauna Lee; one daughter, Marcella Young of Hooker, Okla.; and one grandchild.

■ John M. O’Connell Jr., 50, Hotchkiss, died Dec. 20, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Hotchkiss.

Survivors include one son, Daniel John of Hotchkiss; one daughter, Jaclyn Hall of Quantico, Va.; his father, John Michael “Jack” O’Connell Sr., of Hotchkiss; his mother, Maxine O’Connell of Winnemucca, Nev.; one brother, Steven of Hotchkiss; and seven grandchildren.
