Ernest M. Cooper, 81, Nucla, died Dec. 22, 2012, at his home.

Services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday at Nucla Cemetery.

Diana L. Dodgion, 64, Fruita, died Dec. 21, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services are pending with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Survivors include one son, Robert of Fruita; one sister, Terry Wolfe of Denver, and four grandchildren.


Nancy Foote, 66, Olathe, died Dec. 25, 2012, at La Villa Grande Care Center.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Olathe Cemetery.

Mrs. Foote was a teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Charles D.; two sons, David of Sacramento, Calif., and Donald of Roy, Utah; one daughter, Charleen Beeman of Durango; and six grandchildren.


Mary Ellen Gustafson, 66, Grand Junction, died Dec. 19, 2012, in Grand Junction.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her husband Dennis L.; three sons, Michael L., Mark, and Damion, all of Grand Junction; one daughter, Michelle Kleiner of Granby; one brother, Wayne Briles of Montrose; one sister, Sharon Dorn of Canon City; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Edward Frank Haeger, Jr., 87, Grand Junction, died Dec. 23, 2012, at La Villa Grande Care Center.

Services will take place this spring in Milwaukee, Wis.

Survivors include two daughters, Wendy of Grand Junction and Laura Martin of Lakewood, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.


James “Buster” Hitchens, 86, Grand Junction, died Dec. 25, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie; one son, Jim of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Michelle Donahue of Brentwood, Tenn.; two sisters, Imogene Monks of Edmonton, Canada, and Eileen Fagel of Greeley; and three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Disabled American Veterans, 2121 North Ave., Grand Junction 81501.


David Hale Morris, Jr., 95, Grand Junction, died Dec. 23, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at American Lutheran Church.

Mr. Morris was an artist.

Survivors include three sons, Richard of Fort Worth, Texas, and Gary and Brian, both of Grand Junction; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.


Carrol Ann Victoria Stillion, 71, Grand Junction, died Dec. 24, 2012, at her home.

Services will take place at 9 a.m. Jan. 3 at Mesa Funeral Service Chapel.

Survivors include one daughter, Korrene Eaton of Grand Junction; two sisters, Betty Sheridan and Sharon Dangler, both of Grand Junction, and Benna Thompkins of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
