• Alma-Sue Lowery, 75, Grand Junction, died Dec. 6, 2008, at her residence.
Services are pending.
Mrs. Lowery was a cashier at Target stores and a teacher with School District 51.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis; one son, Dan of Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Kimberly Babbel of Grand Junction; one sister, Emma Zoe Sawyer; and four grandchildren.

• Loyal Dean Marshall, 84, Grand Junction, died Nov. 27, 2008, at his residence.
Services will take place at 3 p.m. Friday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mr. Marshall was a butcher.
Survivors include two sons, Brian of Grand Junction and Matthew of Colorado Springs; and two grandchildren.

• Jack L. Miller, 82, Eckert, died Dec. 5, 2008, at Palisade Living Center.
Military graveside services will take place at 1 p.m. Monday at Grand View Cemetery in Montrose.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Judi Douglass of Chubbuck, Idaho, Katherine McGill of Mendocino, Calif., and June Flowers of Spring Creek, Nev.; two sisters, Geri Caddy and Vera Scharf, both of Montrose; one brother, Ralph Linscott of Canon City; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

• Harold E. Russell Sr., 88, Grand Junction, died Dec. 5, 2008, at Family Health West in Fruita. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Martin Mortuary.
Services will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Russell was a meat packer.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian; two sons, Harold Jr. of Grand Junction and Robert of Pueblo; a sister, Betty Sutton of Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
