•  Robert “Bob” Choate, 89,  Grand Junction, died Dec. 19, 2008, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Services are planned at a later date.

Mr. Choate was a concrete construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Grand Junction; three daughters, Roxie Mazurek of Tacoma, Wash., Martha Paetzold of Hereford, Texas, and Rita Weese of Beaverton, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

• Wayne Ora Gepford, 84, Grand Junction, died Dec. 19, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

No services are planned.

Mr. Gepford was a driver with Northwest Transport.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; one son, Mike, of Camino, Calif.; one daughter, Debbie Kallage of Lakewood; and four grandchildren.
