Phillip “Phil” Finch, 63, Grand Junction, died Jan. 31, 2012, at his residence.

Services will take place in Kansas.

Mr. Finch was an author.

Survivors include his wife, Dahlia of Emporia, Kan.; a son, Daniel of Emporia; a daughter, Angela of Lawrence, Kan.; his mother, Madeline of Grand Junction; a brother, Thomas of Wichita, Kan.; and three sisters, Yvonne of Grand Junction, Denise of Auburn, Calif., and Madeline of Sacramento, Calif.

Charlotte M. Gustafson, 94, Grand Junction, died Jan. 30, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, 682 1725 Road in Delta. Burial will follow at Delta City Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald of Las Vegas, Nev., and Dennis of Grand Junction; a daughter, Linda Cook of Whitewater; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Allen Wesley Hobbs, 85, Fruita, died Jan. 29, 2012, at Family Health West.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, followed by burial at 1 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Hobbs was a refinery operator.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Joyce; a son, Michael of Lakewood; a sister, LaRue Woods of Panama City Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Guntram “Gunny” Jarre, 83, Palisade, died Jan. 29, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.

Services are pending with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mr. Jarre was a geologist.

Survivors include his wife, Lois; two sons, Michael Neumann of Denver and Stuart Neumann of Jefferson City, Mont.; a daughter, Sally Hill of Palisade; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Sue Carroll Niblett, 78, Grand Junction, died Jan. 28, 2012, in Grand Junction.

Mrs. Niblett was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, T. Carroll Niblett, a daughter, Ronda Sutton of Grand Junction, one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Leta Kay Sparks, 78, Grand Junction, died Jan. 31, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.

Survivors include a son, Les of Denver; two daughters, Sandy Amsberry and Linda Malesich, both of Grand Junction; a brother, Lee Erven of Delta; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Raymond R. Warner, 86, Fruita, died Jan. 18, 2012, at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Feb. 8 at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Warner was a contractor.

Survivors include four daughters, Noreen Kiefer and Karen Warner-Long, both of Fruita, Evelyn Mercer-Zeunen of Grand Junction, and Kathy Warner of Reno, Nev.; two brothers, Clarence and Vernon, both of Brainerd, Minn.; two sisters, Grace and Alice, both of Brainerd; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Betty Jo Weber, 90, Grand Junction, died Jan. 30, 2012, at Larchwood Inns.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at Martin Mortuary, followed by a reception at the Clifton VFW Hall.

Mrs. Weber owned Betty Jo’s Beauty Salon in Palisade.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest; two daughters, Carol Brown of Grand Junction and Kathy English of Delta; a brother, Jack Pollard of Grand Junction; two sisters, Emma Lou Bruner of Grand Junction and Ramona Jane Bailey of Cottage Grove, Ore.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
