Gregory M. Assenmacher, 54, Fruita, died Jan. 29, 2013, at his home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Fellowship Church. Burial will take place at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Mr. Assenmacher was a commander for the Grand Junction Police Department.

Survivors include his wife, Deletha D.; three daughters, Haley and Madison, both of Fruita, and Michaela Graber of Denver; his mother Joanne of Portage, Mich.; four brothers, Paul of Alpharetta, Ga., Dennis of Riverview, Mich., John of Schoolcraft, Mich., and Lee of Rockland, Calif.; and one sister, Karen Assenmacher of East Lansing, Mich.

Memorial contributions to the Haley and Madison Assenmacher Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank; or Western Slope Center for Children, 259 Grand Ave., Grand Junction 81501.

Dora Prudence Green, 96, Rifle, died Jan. 29, 2013, at E. Dene Moore Care Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Ms. Green was an owner/operator in the motel industry.

Survivors include her sister, Josephine Booker of Fruita.

Feola Polly Jones, 58, Grand Junction, died Jan. 26, 2013, at her home.

Services are pending with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Ms. Jones was an accountant.

Survivors include two sons, Gregory Roberson of Seabrook, Texas, and Edward Jones Jr., of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two brothers, Arthur Roberson of Grand Junction and Hershel Roberson of Cheyenne; one sister, Eddiemae Chaney of Marshall, Texas; and one grandchild.

Marvin Shrum, 85, Clifton, died Jan. 29, 2013, at Family Health West.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 8 at Lutheran Church of Messiah. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 8 at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Shrum owned and operated an automobile repair business.

Survivors include his wife, Ida; two sons, Daryl of Clifton and Kirk of San Francisco; one brother, Kenneth of Craig; two sisters, Ruby Kenney of Boise, Idaho, and Wanita Hefley of Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Lutheran Church & School of Messiah, 840 N. 11th St., Grand Junction, CO 81501.

Walter H. Warren, 86, Grand Junction, died Jan. 29, 2013, at Eagle Ridge Care Center.

Services are pending with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mr. Warren owned and operated a radiation company.

Survivors include wife Dorothy P., daughters Linda Harper of Grand Junction and Julie Hoyt of Arizona, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
