Edna D. Blackwell, 98, Delta, died Jan. 28, 2014, in Delta.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Delta, followed by burial at 2 p.m. at Gunnison Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, Noah W. of Delta, Billie Wayne of Tow, Texas, and Ronald Douglas of Checotah, Okla.; one brother, Glenn Shirley of Levelland, Texas; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Tommy Roland Brach, 55, Grand Junction, died Jan. 29, 2014, at his home.

Services are pending with Grand Junction Funeral Home.

Mr. Brach was a master plumber.

Survivors include two daughters, Chelbe and Zoe Kirkhart Brach; his mother, Patrice; and one sister, Susie Bautch.

Paul F. Cavanagh, 92, Grand Junction, died Jan. 30, 2014, at LaVilla Grande Care Center.

A rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m., with services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret “Peg;” four sons, Paul F. Jr., Thomas J., Michael W. and Timothy H.; two daughters, Mary F. Cavanagh and Sharon L. Geherin; 22 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Betty J. Mansfield, 87, Crawford, died Jan. 24, 2014, at Delta County Memorial Hospital.

No services are planned.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald of Sneads, Fla., and Bill of Crawford; two sisters, Alberta Trosclair of Biloxi, Miss., and Dorothy Revell of Concordia, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Edith “Marlene” Shea, 59, Delta, died Jan. 28, 2014, at her home.

A rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m, with services at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Delta.

Survivors include her mother, Ozella Shea of Delta; one stepdaughter, Heather Henson of Shady Point, Okla.; one brother, Steve of Delta; two sisters, Mary Shea of Delta and Margaret Harmon of Whitewood, S.D.; and two step-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to HopeWest, P.O. Box 24, Delta 81416, or to St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

John Tyson Slothower, 67, Grand Junction, died Jan. 29, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Victory Life Church, 2066 U.S. Highway 6&50.

Mr. Slothower was a superintendent with the government.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; one son, Scott T. of Denver; one daughter, Danielle Camp of Grand Junction; and three grandchildren.
