■ Irene Carver, 89, Montrose, died Feb. 21, 2012, at her home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church in Montrose. Interment will follow at Grand View Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph; one son, Robert Thompson; two stepsons, James and Steve Carver; one stepdaughter, Delphine Love; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

■ Richard Oscar Owens, 75, Grand Junction, died Feb. 21, 2012, at his home.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Owens served in the Air Force and was a coal miner and a rancher.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy; four sons, Timothy and Richard, both of Grand Junction, Brian of Colorado Springs and Robert of Fruita; two daughters, Tina Vigueria of Paonia and Amy Owens of Sparks, Nev.; 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
