Verne Ray Anderson, 82, Georgetown, Texas, died Feb. 22, 2014, in Georgetown.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Inurnment was at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Anderson was a general contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha; three daughters, Lisa Johnson, Julie Kennedy and Amy Adams; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Frances S. Carpenter, 71, Cedaredge, died Feb. 23, 2014, at Horizons Care Center in Eckert.

Visitation will be at noon and services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cedaredge Assembly of God. Burial will be at Cedaredge Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; four son, Thomas “Tommy” Parham of Canada, Matthew Parham of Grand Junction, Patric Parham of Cedaredge and David Parham of Delta; two daughters, Cindy Dinwiddie of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Theresa Peterson of Austin; one sister, Barbara Atencio of Farmington, N.M.; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mark W. Fenn, 60, Grand Junction, died Feb. 21, 2014, at his home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mr. Fenn was a real estate agent.

Survivors include one son, Jason of Grand Junction; one daughter, Erin Fenn of Grand Junction; one brother, Stan of Fort Collins; and five grandchildren.

Rosemary “June” Kasten, 81, Grand Junction, died Feb. 23, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services are pending with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Ms. Kasten was an environmental technician in health care.

Survivors include two sons, Keith of Grand Junction and Kenny of Delta; two daughters, Vicki Newman of Grand Junction and Karen Kasten-Shipp of Florida; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Larry Ross Knowles, 70, Crawford, died Feb. 19, 2014, in Hotchkiss.

A celebration of life and potluck will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Boardwalk in Crawford.

Survivors include his wife, Robbyn; three daughters, Tammy Hatch of Pueblo West, Tracy Knowles Chapman of Highlands Ranch and Angele Rodstrom of Crawford; two sons, Jeff and Grant, both of Whitewater; two sisters, Annabel Muir of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Marty Latham of Inkom, Idaho; one brother, Kenny of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Norman Lee Lincoln, 59, Grand Junction, died Feb. 22, 2014, at HopeWest and Hospice.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel.

Mr. Lincoln was a superintendent in road construction.

Survivors include his wife, Doreen; two sons, Erik of Arlington, Va., and Brian of Denver; six brothers, Eddy Lincoln of Sacramento, Calif., Richard Lincoln of Oroville, Calif., Roger Lincoln of Greenville, Calif., Gary Lincoln of Fort Meyers, Fla., Charles Young of Arvada and Donny Young of Palisade; and one sister, Lynette Talbott of Palisade.

Douglas Lee Martin, 68, Grand Junction, died Feb. 20, 2014.

No services are planned.

Sean Michael McCarthy, 44, Grand Junction, died Feb. 14, 2014, at his home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. March 8 at the Alano Club, 404 Glenwood Ave.

Survivors include his father, Michael of Hotchkiss; his mother, Sarah Jussen of Longmont; and one sister, Erin of Longmont.

Paul Bruce Phippeny, 97, Naturita, died Feb. 23, 2014, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille; two daughters, Joan Walter of Silt and Karen Leonard of Grand Junction; one son, Dale of Naturita; one sister, Patricia Kaplan of Rio Rancho, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Wesley J. Schneider, 46, Grand Junction, died Feb. 24, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mr. Schneider was in transportation maintenance.

Survivors include three daughters, Jessica Maxwell of Grand Junction and McKayla Frisch and Emily Schneider, both of Olathe; his father, John W. of Grand Junction; his mother and stepfather, Leatrice J. and Gary M. Mark Randall Thomason, 57, Fruita, died Feb. 19, 2014, at Family Health West.

Survivors include his stepmother, Betty L. of Palisade; one brother, Kevin of Palisade; and two sisters, Jacque Cluck of Lafayette and Traci Kennedy of Page, Ariz.

■ Former Grand Junction resident Gary Wayne Wallace, 59, Ottawa, Kan., died Feb. 13, 2014, at his home.

Mr. Wallace worked for Coffey County Health Systems in Burlington, Kan.

Edith Margaret Wolf, 87, Grand Junction, died Feb. 22, 2014, in New Castle.

Services will be private.

Ms. Wolf was a sales clerk.

Survivors include one daughter, Michele Prehm of New Castle; one sister, Linda McKinney of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
