■ Helen Bartman, 91, Fruita, died Feb. 1, 2014, at Family Health West.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Bartman was a cook for Mesa County School District 51.
She is survived by one son, John Bartman III of Grand Junction; one daughter, Connie Overbye of Fruita; one sister, Dorothy Spoonmore of Libby, Mont.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

■ William “Bill” Chapman, 39, Rifle, died Jan. 27, 2014, at his home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Grand Junction.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffany M.; one son, Dillon of Grand Junction; one daughter, Kaitlyn Chapman of Washington.; his father and mother, William and Mary Ann; one brother, Tim of Bensalem, Pa.; one sister, Jenny Chapman of Berlin, Md.

■ Melanie S. DeWitt, 54, Pahrump, Nev., died Jan. 30, 2014, at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 15 at Orchard Mesa Baptist Church, 2748 B 1/2 Road, Grand Junction.
Ms. DeWitt was a retired office manager.
She is survived by one son, Jason Chavez of Grand Junction; one daughter, Amanda Maynes of Grand Junction; her mother, Linda Rowland of Grand Junction; one sister, Elizabeth Leonard of Pahrump; and nine grandchildren.
■ Flora L. Fox, 62, Austin, died Jan. 30, 2014, at Delta County Memorial Hospital in Delta.
Services are planned later this spring in Orderville, Utah.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
■ Donald Arthur McLaughlin, 82, Gateway, died Jan. 26, 2014, in Atlanta.
Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m., with services to follow at 10 a.m. Saturday at Martin Mortuary. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Rowena; two sons, Larry of Carver, Ore., and Don of Atlanta; one daughter, Mary Gurney of Atlanta; one brother, Jim of Archbald, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

■ Barbara Steggs, 75, Grand Junction, died Jan. 30, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Services are planned later in San Bernardino, Calif.
Ms. Steggs worked for GTE for 30 years.
She is survived by two sons, Mark McCracken of Grand Junction and Kevin McCracken of San Bernardino; one daughter, Kelly Pasqualetto of Grand Junction; three sisters, Joy Ann Gorian and Diane Zane, both of San Diego, and Paula Clay of San Bernardino; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
