•  William H. (Bill) Darlington, 78, Paonia, died Jan. 31, 2009, at his home.

Private services will be at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Nadine; one son, Mark of Steamboat Springs; one stepson, Steve Aten of Denver; two daughters, Nina of Steamboat Springs and Lisa of Seattle; two stepdaughters, Taryn Armstrong of Soldotna, Alaska and Lisa Aten of Los Gatos, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

•  Karen Marie Hughes, 47, Grand Junction, died Feb. 2, 2009, at Community Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mrs. Hughes was a cafeteria worker.

Survivors include her husband, Gregory Edward; two sons, Chad and Matthew, both of Grand Junction; one daughter, Kristina of Grand Junction; her parents, Dennis Henry and Marilyn Louise Epp of Loveland; one sister, Barbara Epp-Dunn of Grand Junction; and two grandchildren.

•  Barry D. Lenard, 39, Grand Junction, died Feb. 2, 2009, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Church on the Rock.

Dr. Lenard was a counselor.

Survivors include his father, Donald “Jerry” of Grand Junction; his mother, Darlene Lenard Wissel of Loma; one grandmother, Louise Phillips of Grand Junction; one grandfather, Delmar Lenard of Grand Junction; one daughter, Ciera Ortiz of Denver; one brother, Robin Lenard of Grand Junction; one sister, Jeralie Lenard-Raley of Loma; and one grandchild.

•  Elanor Martinez, 59, Grand Junction, died Feb. 2, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 14 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mrs. Martinez was a certified nurse’s assistant.

Survivors include one son, Christopher of Grand Junction; two daughters, Lisa Hubert of Salt Lake City and Renee Samora of Grand Junction; one brother, Phillip Perez of Montrose; three sisters, Alice Perez of Parker and Betty Sandoval and Elva Jaramillo, both of Denver; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

•  Margaret Pallaoro, 86, Molina, died Jan. 31, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Molina Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Johnnie Farmer of Fruita; two brothers, Louie of Molina and John of Morrison; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

•  Former Delta and Cedaredge resident Gary Clayton White, 52, Clifton, died Feb. 3, 2009, in Cedaredge.

Services will be planned at a later date.

Mr. White was a general laborer.

Survivors include his father, Irving of Cedaredge; mother Inez Ruble of Cedaredge; three brothers, Dale of Boise, Idaho, Dennis of Cedaredge, and Don of Klamath Falls, Ore.; one stepbrother, Ron Whiteshield of Montrose; and one sister, Susan Reger of Cedaredge.
