•  Virginia Funk, 88, Carbondale, died Dec. 31, 2008, at Heritage Park Care Center in Carbondale.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Snell-McLean Funeral Home in Palisade. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Funk was a homemaker.

Survivors include four daughters, Jeanne Flockhart of Bullhead City, Ariz., Cynthia John of Toledo, Iowa, Elizabeth Johnson of Aspen and Kay Kuschel of Grand Rapids, Minn.; one sister, Margaret Glenn of Port Isabel, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2232 N. Seventh St., Suite B1, Grand Junction 81501.

• Naomi J. Trower, 83, Palisade, died Jan. 3, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Snell-McLean Funeral Home in Palisade.
Mrs. Trower was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Preston; one daughter, Toni Ford of Grand Junction; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
