•  Mardelle Pecjak, 85, Grand Junction, died Jan. 24, 2009, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mrs. Pecjak was a bookkeeper.

Survivors include a son, Wayne R. of Florence, Ariz.; a daughter, Cindy Wise of Grand Junction; a sister, Donna Shaw-Carmack of Fruita; five grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

• Claudette Reither, 75, Grand Junction, died Jan. 23, 2009, at Hospice Care Center.

Services are pending.

Mrs. Reither was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas D.; three sons, Patrick C. O’Hearn of Fruita, Michael J. O’Hearn of Aurora and John C. O’Hearn of Manheim, Germany; four daughters, Kathleen Buniger, Margaret M. O’Hearn and Maureen Kelly Bamford, all of Grand Junction, and Jeanne Michele Maneotis of Craig; three brothers, Bernard Malburg of Palisade, Lawrence Malburg of Fort Collins and Jerome Malburg of Barrington, Ill.; one sister, Ayleen VanBeynen of Marquett, Mich.; and nine grandchildren.
