Gary Ray Fleischmann, 71, Surface Creek, died July 9, 2013, at Horizons Care Center in Eckert.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Eckert Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Dale of Cedaredge;  one son, David of Broomfield; two daughters,Ann Fleischmann of Cambridge, Mass., and Sara Fleischmann Stoddart of Grand Junction; one sister, Marlene Fleischmann Mink of Greenwood, Neb.; and three grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Eckert Presbyterian Church, 13025 Colorado Highway 65, Eckert 81418; or Cedaredge Rotary Club, P.O. Box 750, Cedaredge 81413.

Lillian Hatton, 89, Paonia, died July 2, 2013, at Willow Tree Care Center in Delta.

Services are pending with Sunset Mesa Funeral Directors’ Delta Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; one son, Jeffrey of Paonia; one daughter, Frances of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Deborah Denise (Friend) Howe, 43, Grand Junction, died July 7, 2013, at her home.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Legacy Funeral Home Remembrance Chapel.

Mrs. Howe was a certified nursing assistant.

Survivors include her husband, Kurtis; six sons, Chris Riley, Shawn Howe, Johnathon Howe, Aaron Riley, Matthew Howe, and Andrew Howe; three daughters, Brittney Riley, Emily Howe, and Alexys Howe; one sister, Susette Friend; and three grandchildren.

Ruth E. Sherman, 87, Fruita, died July 10, 2013, at Family Health West.

Services will be in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Survivors include two sons, David W. of Grand Junction and Donald R. of Eau Claire, Wis.; one daughter, Barbara Sigmund of Arlington, Wis.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Life Church, 2066 U.S. Highway 6&50, Fruita 81521.

Charles J. Terrell, 86, New Castle, died July 8, 2013, at his home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rifle Funeral Home, followed by a reception at Mr. Terrell’s house. Burial will be at Union Divide Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Terrell was a predator control agent for the State of Colorado.

Survivors include one son, Richard, one daughter, Sally Walker, one brother, Gern, six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
