• Edward A. Boehler, 76, of Norwood, died July 21, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

A service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Norwood Christian Church. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Boehler was a CPA and professor emeritus at Mesa State College.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Norwood; a son, Dean of Norwood; a daughter, Dian Forbis of Depot Bay, Ore.; two brothers, James and Tom, both of Fallbrook, Calif.; two grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Gideons.

• Pacomio Chacon, 93, of Fruita, died July 21, 2009, at Family Health West.

A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assembly of God Church in Fruita.

Mr. Chacon was a folk art artist.

He is survived by his son, Paco of Fruita; five daughters, Alice Montano of Grand Junction, Susana Tapia of Palisade, Sophia Chacon of California, and Marcella Aragon and Priscilla Studt, both of Grand Junction; two brothers, Manuela Chacon of Cortez and Pres Chacon of Fruita; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

• Jean McMaster Daugherty, 90, of Grand Junction, died July 21, 2009, at Mesa Manor.

Services will be at a later date.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Sherman of Girdwood, Alaska; a daughter, Cindy Denison of Grand Junction; and one grandchild.

•  Rhonda Jean Hinson-Martin-Multz, 48, of Grand Junction, died July 22, 2009, at Hospice Care Center.

A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Canyon View Vineyard Church.

Ms. Hinson-Martin-Multz worked at Grand Valley National Bank.

She is survived by her husband, Carroll Multz of Grand Junction; two sons, Sean Martin of San Diego and Ronnie Martin of Grand Junction; two daughters, Lisa Knudsen of Erie and Natalie Santa-Maria of Grand Junction; her parents, Mary and Ron Hinson of Grand Junction; two sisters, Riki Towle of Highlands Ranch and Ranelle Gremo of Gilbert, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.

• Carolyn M. Hite-Claar, 85, of Grand Junction, died July 19, 2009, at Hospice Care Center.

A private family service will take place.

Ms. Hite-Claar was an executive secretary.

She is survived by two sons, Michael T. Heydt of Wheat Ridge and Jon B. Hite of Roanoke, Va.; and a daughter, Freya B. Hite-Wolmutt of Grand Junction.
