Richard Ackley, 85, Grand Junction, died June 15, 2012.

Services will be at a later date in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Mr. Ackley was a retired aerospace engineer.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; two sons, Stuart of Grand Junction and Scott of Terre Haute, Ind.; one daughter, Alice Cherry of McLean, Va.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Jayne McFarland, 82, Cedaredge, died June 14, 2012, at Willow Tree in Delta County.

No services are planned.

Survivors include one son, Van McFarland of Torrance, Calif.; and one grandchild.
