■ Max E. Bloss, 85, Grand Junction, died June 18, 2013, at his residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Military honors and interment will be at 1 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mr. Bloss was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Charline; three sons, Tom of Montrose, Tim of Echo, Utah, and Ted of Walden; one daughter, Bonnie Reid of Loma; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

■ Eva Lee Greenwood, 93, Grand Junction, died June 18, 2013, at Hospice Care Center.
Services are pending with Martin Mortuary.
Ms. Greenwood was a bookkeeper.
Survivors include one daughter, Rayleen Edwards of Grand Junction; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
■ Cherry A. Nyland, 61, Eckert, died June 17, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
A visitation wil be from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Friday at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta. Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at Eckert Presbyterian Church. Burial follows at Eckert Cemetery.
Survivors include her significant other, Starr Cannon; two daughters, Sherry Aguilar of Eckert and Deanna Rivas of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; three sisters, Cheryl Hammett and Deborah Wilkerson, both of Cedaredge, and Diana Young of Payson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
■ Hazel Shepherd, 91, Grand Junction, died June 14, 2013, at La Villa Grande Care Center.
Services are pending for Friday with Martin Mortuary.
■ Amelda Marie Tompkins, 93, Fruita, died June 18, 2013, at Family Health West.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fruita Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, David Lee of Chandler, Ariz., and Saul of Fruita; one daughter, Elaine Marie Mason of Fruita; one sister, Lita Carpenter of Terreton, Idaho; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
