■ Virginia Lee Bernadou, 83, Cedaredge, died March 3, 2013, at Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction.

Services will be in May.

Survivors include her husband, Edmond; one daughter, Renee Bidstrup of Los Angeles; and one son, Paul of Huntington Beach, Calif.

■ Helena Dalessandro, 86, Grand Junction, died March 9, 2013, at her home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Ms. Dalessandro was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, David John of Clifton and Mark Richard of Denver; two daughters, Nina Louise Davis of Nashville, Tenn., and Lisa Dalessandro Norman of Grand Junction; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

■  Emmelyne Mae Erickson, 94, Grand Junction, died March 7, 2013, at Mesa Manor Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. March 19 at Living Hope Evangelical Free Church, 2840 B 1/2 Road.

Ms. Erickson was a registered nurse.

Survivors include two sons, Randy of Clifton and Tom of Silverthorne; one daughter, Donna Simpson of Walnut Creek, Calif.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

■  Jesus Valencia Martinez, 67, Grand Junction, died March 6, 2013, at Hospice Care Center.

A rosary will be said at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mr. Martinez owned and operated a construction/concrete business.

Survivors include his wife, Carolina; one son, Adrian Valdez of Grand Junction; two daughters, Kristi Valdez and Jesusita Valdez, both of Grand Junction; two brothers, Lorenzo of Grand Junction and Alejandro of Sonora, Mexico; four sisters, Anjelita, Consuelo, Carmen and Ramona, all of Sonora, Mexico; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

■  Patrick J.L.P. Ruehmann, 30, Grand Junction, died
March 5, 2013, at his home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mr. Ruehmann was a student and handyman.

Survivors include his father, Albert of Atlanta.; his mother, Judy Thompson of Grand Junction; one brother, David of Grand Junction; and one sister, Althea Dease of Savannah, Ga.

■ Rose Marie Schafer, 84, Grand Junction, died March 8, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Grand Junction.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta, followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery in Hotchkiss.

Survivors include two sons, Richard of Colorado City and John of Woodland Park; three daughters, Patricia Reynolds of Portland, Ore., Betty of Grand Junction and Nancy Edwards of Milwaukie, Ore; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

■ Josephine Yanaki, 86, Grand Junction, died March 6, 2013, at her home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Crist Mortuary in Boulder and viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Boulder, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder.

Ms. Yanaki was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Jack of Grand Junction and Jamal of Salt Lake City; two daughters, Widad Jouaneh of Boulder and Jacqueline of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
