Richard Brian DeWyne, 67, Silt, died March 6, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

No services will take place.

Survivors include one brother, John of Seattle; and one sister, Dennie Rae of Franklin, North Carolina.

Tony Vivian Garcia, 58, Grand Junction, died March 8, 2017, at home.

No services will take place.

He was an oil rigger.

Survivors include two brothers, Moses R. and Paul. A., both of Grand Junction; and two sisters, Gloria J. Coleman of Salinas, California, and Donna J. Garcia of Fort Collins.

■  Former Montrose resident Gene Hill, 70, Gunnison, died March 15, 2017, at Hopewest and Palliative Care Center.

Services will be at 1 p.m. March 24 at the Fred R. Field Western Heritage Center in Gunnison.

He was a law enforcement officer.

Survivors include one son, Greg Hill of Montrose; two daughters, Kara Burton of Pueblo West and Tara Logan of Manhattan, Kansas; one sister, Peggy Barnett of Buda, Texas; and three grandchildren.

■ Former Grand Junction resident Katherine Rose Mestas, 35, Denver, died March 7, 2017, in Denver.

She was an attorney.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary in Wheat Ridge. Inurnment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorial gathering will be from 1-3 p.m. April 9 at Riverbend Park in Palisade.

Survivors include her parents, Benny and Marilynn Mestas of Grand Junction; one brother, Erik Mestas of Grand Junction; and one sister, Gretchen Aldrich of Grand Junction.

Jerry L. Moore, 88, Grand Junction, died March 13, 2017, at his home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Grand View Cemetery in Montrose.

He was the owner of Jerry’s Pest Control.

Survivors include five sons, Danny Moore, Roy Moore, Frank Moore, Rodney Ingersoll and Scot Stewart; three daughters, Mary Greenfield, Carmen Wallers and Jolynn Williams; one brother, Jim Moore; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren.

Esther Goodman Rusk, 70, Grand Junction, died March 12, 2017, at Hospice and Palliative Care Center.

Private services will take place.

She was self-employed.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph; three sons, Joppa Smith of Grand Junction, Seth Smith of Lakewood and Jeff Rusk of Knoxville, Tennessee; one daughter, Paula Block of Florida; and one brother, David Goodman of Wisconsin.

Joanne Virginia Tolman, 85, Collbran, died March 12, 2017, in Collbran.

Services will be at 2 p.m. March 29 at the Clifton Church of Latter-day Saints, Grand Mesa Ward, 613 Irwin St.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Devan and Darr, both of Collbran; three daughters, Dana Stone of Reeds Spring, Missouri, Dru Fullmer of Grand Junction and Darci Tolman-Heckethorn of Fruita; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

■ Former Cedaredge resident, Barbara E. Thompson, 97, Grand Junction, died March 15, 2017, at Eagle Ridge of the Grand Valley.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Cedaredge Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Wendell Owen of Cameron, Oklahoma, and Weston L. of Mancos; three daughters, Reva R. Anderson of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Sheryl L. Tyree of Auburn, Washington, and T. Michelle Kostreva of Clifton; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.

Roger Newton Wilcox, 66, Grand Junction, died March 14, 2017, in Grand Junction.

No services will take place.

He was a Realtor.

Survivors include one son, Eric S. of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one daughter, Jennifer R. Goodwin of Grand Junction; and one grandchild.
