James L. “Larry” Clark, 78, Palisade, died March 20, 2013, at his residence.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Palisade United Methodist Church, 365 Main St.

He is survived by three sons, Steve L. Clark and Dennis R. Clark, both of Palisade, and Bruce L. Clark of Redmond, Ore.; a brother Mickey of Victorville, Calif.; a sister Sylvia Morrison of Grand Junction; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

James G. Eddy, 57, Clifton, died March 16, 2013, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.

A celebration of life is planned for 2 p.m. April 6, at Ed Moody’s residence, 2925 Amethyst Court, Grand Junction (near 29 1/4 and Patterson).

Mr. Eddy was an oil field truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; a son Kelley Paul Eddy; six sisters, Sue Strasser, Barbara Erickson, Judy Domince, Jane Kiser, Carol McGhee and Anita Painter; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Beverly Lucile Evans, 78, Grand Junction, died March 18, 2013, at Hospice Care Center.

Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., with a funeral service to follow, on Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

She is survived by two daughters, Dana Cholas of Commerce City, and Lesa Day of Grand Junction; three brothers, Lloyd Brooks, Norman Brooks and Nolan Brooks, all of Utah; a sister Connie Grace of Utah; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Leonard Leroy Hedberg, 70, Silt, died March 17, 2013, in Rifle.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1400 Birch Ave., Rifle. Grave dedication and interment will be at 1 p.m. at the Norwood Cemetery in Norwood.

Mr. Hedberg is survived by his wife JoAnna; two sons, John Brock and Colter Leonard; three daughters, Michelle Louisa Schneiter, Ansley Jo Dennis and Autumn Leigh Bair; and nine grandchildren.

■ Former Craig resident Ethel Frances (Cattoor) Mansfield, 84, Fort Collins, died March 11, 2013 in Fort Collins.

Services have taken place.

Ms. Mansfield was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, James Mansfield of Grand Junction; five daughters, Sandra Mansfield of Craig, Susan Avila of Colorado Springs, Pamela Kregg of Denver, Carolyn Houser of Fort Collins, and Debbie Houser of Delta; three brothers, Orville Cattoor of Bunkerville, Nev.; Steve Cattoor of Craig, and David Cattoor of Logandale, Wyo.; a sister Ruby Sampson of Naturita; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Childrens Hospital, either in Denver or Colorado Springs, or Grand Junction/Clifton Hospice.

Zane James McMahan, 92, Grand Junction, died March 19, 2013, at Mantey Heights Care Center.

A memorial service is planned for 3 p.m. March 28 at Martin Mortuary.

Mr. McMahan was a neon glass blower.

He is survived by a brother Norris “Bud” McMahan of Naturita; two sisters, Charlotte Healm and Dorothy Fountain, both of Salem, Ore.; and two grandchildren.

Kevin Eugene Sporrer, 50, Battlement Mesa, died March 9, 2013, at his residence. Cremation has already taken place.

He is survived by his mother, Carmen Kay of Battlement Mesa; his father Larry of Springfield, Ill.; a sister Tammy Rath; and a brother Todd Sporrer.

Larry Ann (Higdon) VanConett, 86, Clifton, died March 17, 2013 at her residence.

A memorial service is planned for Friday at Clifton Christian Church, 615 I-70 Business Loop.

Mrs. VanConett was a retail clerk.

She is survived by her husband, Myron S. Cluff of Clifton; two sons, Randy and Kevin VanConett, both of Grand Junction; a brother Marty Higdon of Canon City; a sister Nat Higdon Helton of Grand Junction; and five grandchildren.
