• Jamie Lynn Bowden, 38, Grand Junction, died May 13, 2009, at her home.

Services are pending with Snell-McLean Funeral Services.

Mrs. Bowden was a nurse.

Survivors include her parents, Gerald Wayne Riley Sr. of Connecticut and Geraldine Mae Allen of Eddyville, Neb.; one son, Tyler Layne of Sumner, Neb.; two daughters, Courtney Lee of Grand Junction and Lacey Ann of Sumner; three brothers, Gerald Wayne Riley Jr. of Lexington, Neb., David Whitley of Pennsylvania and Robert Thompson of Halifax, Pa.; and one sister, Lisa Marie Riley of Halifax.

• Betty “Jo Ann” Case, 77, Delta, died May 15, 2009, at Colorow Care Center in Olathe.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta.

Survivors include her husband, Don L. of Delta, three sons, John of Delta, Martin Wayne of Bloomington, Ill., and Justin L. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two daughters, Lee Ann Fadler of Smithville, Mo., and Donna McNeil of Delta; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

• Thomas Lee Wells, 72, Austin, died May 13, 2009, at Delta County Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cedaredge Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mr. Wells was retired from the U.S. Air Force, serving as an electronic communication and crypto equipment system technician.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou of Austin; two sons, Jeffrey of Owings Mills, Md., and John of Iraq; one stepson, Harold Fields of Gunnison; three daughters, Ruth Bott of Johnstown and Linda Scanlan and Barbara Stickel, both of Rigby, Idaho; three stepdaughters, Michele Crawford of Gunnison, Melissa Allgeyer of Olathe and Phyllis Conley of Grand Junction; one brother, James of Citrus, Calif.; and one sister, Lauretta Black of Paradise, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

• Mary Celeste White, 89, Grand Junction, died May 14, 2009, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Church on the Rock Family Worship Center, 2170 Broadway. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. White was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, William D.; two daughters, Shirley Rowe of Grand Junction and Helen White of Santa Ana, Calif., two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
