Troy Don Friar, 53, Grand Junction, died May 7, 2017, in Rifle.

Services have taken place.

He was a mechanic.

Survivors include one son, Troy Ray of Litchfield, Illinois; one daughter, Heather Friar of Wickenburg, Arizona; his parents, Don and Carlene Friar of Grand Junction; two brothers, Carl Ray and Glenn, both of Grand Junction; and one grandchild.

Charles Leo “Red” Gillett, 88, Grand Junction, died May 14, 2017, at Courtyard Care Center in Fruita.

Services will take place at a later date.

He was a building and zoning administrator.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; two sons, Michael Bassett of Moab, Utah, and Gregory of Florida; one daughter, Rebecca Pomponio of Denver; one sister, Nina Stilwell of Keokuk, Iowa; and two grandchildren.

Abby Hodges, 58, Montrose, died May 14, 2017, at HopeWest and Hospice Care Center.

Services will take place at a later date.

She was a horse woman.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Mulligan; and three sisters, Linda Martin of Fort Lupton, Sara Neelands of Washington and Cynthia Clausen of Marina, California.

■ Former Grand Junction resident Robert A. Wade, 72, Colorado Springs, died May 3, 2017.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Church of the Nazarene in Colorado Springs.

He was a pastor.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine; two sons, Darrin and Kevin; one daughter, Janna Wade; and four grandchildren.
