Russell R. Fender, 96, Delta, died May 2, 2013, at Veterans Administration Community Living Center in Grand Junction.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado. Separate services will take place this summer.

Survivors include wife Penny; son Stanley Harold “Rusty” of Springfield, Va.; daughters Jill Walton of Hamilton, Texas, and Bette Ammon of Hayden, Idaho; brother Harold F. “Bent” of Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Carl Lee Hochmuth, 75, Grand Junction, died May 4, 2013, at his residence.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Congregational Church.

Mr. Hochmuth was a real estate appraiser.

Survivors include wife Donna L., sons Christopher R. of Denver and Ronald S. of Fairplay, and one grandchild.

Travis Minter, 45, Grand Junction, died May 5, 2013, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.

Services have taken place.

Survivors include brothers Larry of Phoenix and Tim of Grand Junction; and sisters Pamela Harrison of Valencia, Calif., and Martha of Phoenix.

Fortino Murrieta, 81, Paonia, died May 3, 2013, at Delta County Memorial Hospital.

Services will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. today at El Buen Pastor Assembly of God in Delta.

Loren Francis Radel, 70, Parachute, died May 1, 2013, in Sun City West, Ariz.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Rifle. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Battlement Mesa Cemetery.

Mr. Radel was a machinist.

Survivors include wife Edith M.; sons David M., Doyle L., and Darren K.; brother Martin E.; sister Luella G. Heilbrun; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions can be made to Loren Radel Memorial Fund at any Alpine Bank branch.
