•  Dorothy L. Copley, 91, Delta, died Oct. 27, 2008, at Willow Tree Care Center.

Visitation will be at noon Wednesday at Taylor Funeral Service chapel in Delta.
Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the mortuary.

Survivors include one son, Gary A. of Delta; and one daughter, Marcia Ann Copley of Montrose.

Memorial contributions to the Columbine Senior Center, 247 Meeker St., Delta 81416.

•  Matthew Criner, 23, Grand Junction, died Nov. 1, 2008, at his home.

Services will take place at 3 p.m. Thursday at Callahan- Edfast Mortuary.

Burial will be in Mount Judea, Ark.

Mr. Criner was disabled.

Survivors include his parents, Larry and Anita of Grand Junction; and two brothers, Joshua Criner of Grand Junction and Eric Chamberlain of Yellville, Ark.

•  Karl Kotzian, 84, Crawford, died Nov. 2, 2008, at his home.

No services will take place.

Survivors include two sons, Robert of Bennett and Christopher of Thornton; one daughter, Angelika White of Crawford; and four grandchildren.

•  Benito D. Licon, 86, Delta, died Oct. 31, 2008, at Delta County Memorial Hospital.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
Services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at the church with burial to follow at the Delta City Cemetery.

Mr. Licon worked in construction.

Survivors include one son, Benito of Carson, Calif.; two daughters, Irene Williamson and Alice Jones, both of Delta; three sisters, Edwina Licon and Jean Licon, both of Modesto, Calif., and Molly Leement of Benica, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 628 Meeker St., Delta 81416.

•  Shirley Miles, 48, Grand Junction, died Nov. 1, 2008, at her parents’ home.

Visitation will be at noon Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the mortuary.

Ms. Miles worked for Choice Hotels.

Survivors include three sons, James Dean, Leonard Porter and Steven Christopher; all of Grand Junction; her parents, Bennie and Mary McFarlin of Grand Junction; three sisters, Tammy Lynn Williamstein of Tulsa, Okla., Deana Mary Smith of Denver and Christena Rosalea Burnham of Grand Junction; and one grandchild.

Memorial contributions to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado.

•  William “Bill” Mills, 88, Olathe, died Nov. 2, 2008, at Colorow Care Center.

Services and a potluck will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the American Legion Hall in Olathe.

Survivors include one son, Monte of Santa Margarita, Calif.; and one daughter, Janet Hartman of Montrose.

•  Catherine L. “Katie” Whited, 85, Delta, died Nov. 3, 2008, at Willow Tree of Delta.

Services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday at Mesa View Mortuary Chapel.
Burial will be at Delta City Cemetery.

Mrs. Whited was a secretary at Mountain Bell Telephone Co.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; two stepdaughters, Sherrie Quinton of Grand Junction and Melinda Willmon of Lufkin, Texas; three stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
