•  Emil Jones, 89, Paonia, died Nov. 19, 2008, at his home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Paonia Taylor Funeral Service Chapel.
Services will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Bible Center Church in Paonia.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances; two sons, Tom of Surprise, Ariz., and Tim of San Francisco; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

• Marjorie Florene Smith, 80, Grand Junction, died Nov. 19, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

No services are planned.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil L.; two sons, Steve Dunham of Grand Junction, and Michael A. of Rifle; two daughters, Kelly Biekes of Clovis, N.M., and Willo Ferrin of Grand Junction; one brother, Larry Carl of Hesperus; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
