■ Dr. Richard Hamilton Nilsson, 95, Grand Junction, died Oct. 9, 2013, at Larchwood Inns Care Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church.
He retired from his own practice and Lutheran Hospital and St. Anthony’s Hospital, all in the Denver area.
Survivors include his wife, Sophie, four sons, John of Eagle, Bill of Issaquah, Wash., and Chris and Mark, both of Littleton; one brother, Jack of Glenwood Springs; one sister, Betty O’Day of Lakewood; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

■ Norma Dee Pennington, 74, Grand Junction, died.
Private services have taken place.
Mrs. Pennington owned and operated a tourism business.
Survivors include her husband, Richard M.; one son, Richard A. of Grand Junction; one brother, Corky Roehm of Wenatchee, Wash.; and two sisters, Judy Brady of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Mickey Durham of Wenatchee.
■ Ruth Gurli Adele Ragains, 70, Palisade, died Oct. 8, 2013, at Palisade Living Center.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at New Horizons Foursquare Church in Grand Junction.
Ms. Ragains was a teacher.
Survivors include two sons, Richard A. Jr. of Japan and Mark J. of Santa Ana, Calif.; two daughters, Karin L. Lane of Tecumseh, Okla., and Kathryn S. Conradi of Grand Junction; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

■ Kenneth Wayne Sweet, 85, Grand Junction, died Sept. 5, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 3163½ B½ Road.
Mr. Sweet was an operating engineer.
Survivors include five sons, Terry and Joe, both of Grand Junction, Mike of Milan, Mich., and Doug and Steve, both of Fairbanks, Alaska; two daughters, Cheryl Druckenbrodt of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Wendy Somer of Fairbanks; two sisters, Joyce Cleasby and Pauline Branch, both of Kalamazoo, Mich.; 20 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
