Dwayne Louis Goad, 80, Rifle, died Oct. 8, 2016, in Rifle. Services will be held in the spring.

Mr. Goad was an avid hunter and was a Royal Member of the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Virgie; three sons, Wendell of Rifle, Allen of Silt, and Scott of Knoxville, Tennessee; one brother, Lawrence of Fruita; a sister Pat Copeland of Yorktown, Texas; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

■  Pamela Ann Madrid, 48, Aurora, died Oct.. 8, 2016, at
HopeWest Hospice Care Center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Northglenn.

Ms. Madrid was an optician.

She is survived by her mother, Sally Rhodes of Grand Junction; and two brothers, Glenn of Grand Junction and Darell of Glendale.

Leo Leas Wittwer, 98, Grand Junction, died Oct. 12, 2016, in Grand Junction.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 23 at Martin Mortuary Chape. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at First Christian Church.

Mr. Wittwer was an electrical engineer.

He is survived by two sons, Duane of Grand Junction and Gary of Tucson, Arizona; one daughter, Joyce Wittwer of Grand Junction; one brother, Chester of Durango; one sister, Laura Norcross of Grand Junction; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
