J.W. Paul Burnett Sr., 92, Palisade, died Oct. 1, 2012, at Palisade Living Center.

Visitation is at 11 a.m. Friday at Martin Mortuary, with services to follow at 1 p.m.

Mr. Burnett was a minister and tradesman.

Survivors include six sons, Ronald Lee and Daniel Dean, both of Grand Junction, J.W. Paul Jr., of Clifton, David Leon of Honolulu, John Elijah of Poulsbo, Wash., and Nathanial Curtis of Bremerton, Wash.; nine daughters, Patricia Ann Burnett of San Jacinto, Calif., Pauletta Jean Shepherd of Grand Junction, Joan Rebecca Riddle of Collbran, Gloria Rachel Sirokman and Lynda Kate Williams, both of Montrose, Loretta Ruth Wieman of Bremerton, Helen Marie Taylor of Richland, Wash., Mary Lois Schwartz of Garden City, Kan,, and Brenda Esther Woo of Mililani, Hawaii; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Anita M. Finkel, 68, Grand Junction, died Sept. 30, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at New Life Church.

Mrs. Finkel was a special education teacher.

Survivors include her spouse, Roger; two daughters, Melissa Thomspon of Boone, Iowa, and Terra Vowles of Denver; her mother, Jackie Lonsford of Houston; four brothers, Estes Major of Round Rock, Texas, Robert Major of Alvin, Texas, Jack Major of St. James City, Fla., and Michael Lonsford of Houston; 30 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Donald G. Fiscus, 98, Grand Junction, died Oct. 1, 2012, at Family Health West nursing home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mr. Fiscus was an agriculturist.

Survivors include two sons, Don G. and Ray L., both of Grand Junction; two daughters, Marilyn K. Petek and Jane Rarick, both of Grand Junction; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Kyle Anthony Robison, infant, Grand Junction, died Oct. 1, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Private family services will be held.

Survivors include his parents, Lisa Raelynn Robison and Shawn Selk; two sisters, Hailey Jacquez and Kadence Robison, both of Grand Junction; a grandmother, Lynn Robison of Grand Junction; and a great-grandmother, Joyce Self of Grand Junction.

Florence “Flo” Springer, 59, Grand Junction, died Oct. 1, 2012, at Hopsice Care Center.

A private family service will be held.

Ms. Springer was a general manager of traffic control.

Survivors include one son, Tomas G. Springer of Grand Junction; one brother, R.G. Marold of Saguache; one sister, Randi Marold of Grand Junction; and three grandchildren.

Betty Louise Volk, 87, Grand Junction, died Oct. 1, 2012, at Mesa Manor.

No public services are planned.

Ms. Volk was a rancher.

Survivors include two sons, Michael D. Casselberry of Cedaredge and D. Patrick Casselberry of Grand Junction; one daughter, Kelley Smith of Alaska; one sister, Shirley Hammond of California; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
