• Boyd Cruse, 75, Crawford, died Oct. 9, 2008, at Community Hospital.
Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Taylor Funeral Service in Hotchkiss.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Rose; one son, Richard of Wellington; two daughters, Carol Childs of Paonia and Barbara Gehl of Toponas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

• Maurice M. “Jim” Dolan, 78, died Oct. 4, 2008, at his home.
A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Oct. 17 at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy W. and David A., both of Montrose; and a half sister, Barbara Miercourt of Dallas.

• Evelyn Lucille Harville, 95, Grand Junction, died Oct. 7, 2008, at LaVilla Grande Care Center.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fellowship Church.
Ms. Harville was a residential technician at a state home and a training school.
Survivors include one son, Charles Alton Crandell of Mount Carmel, Ill.; one daughter, Emagene Marion Puckett of Grand Junction; three sisters, Adele Crandell of DeBeque and Fern Bowman and Ethel Atwood, both of Grand Junction; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight great great-grandchildren.
• Jose Matias Leon, 88, Grand Junction, died Oct. 4, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Mr. Leon was a welder in the shipyards.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; four daughters, Norma DeGuero, Ofelia Jimenez, Sylvia Paleo and Sandra Cicero, all of California; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
• Laura Sue “Susie” McGuire, 59, Delta, died Oct. 8, 2008.
Services are pending.
• Clyde Donald Pacheco, 93, Austin, died Oct. 9, 2008.
Services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at Riverside Cemetery in Hotchkiss.
Survivors include his wife, Zee; one stepson, Ron Hanks of Hotchkiss; two daughters, Gwendolyn Addington of Peoria, Ariz., and Sharon Maynes of Grand Junction; one stepdaughter, Constance Harrison of Texas; one sister, Hazel Branom of Grand Junction; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
