Mrs. Crawford was a residential aide.

Mrs. Cruz was a homemaker.

• James William Humphreys, 81, died Oct. 19, 2008, at Palisade Living Center.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at Mountain View Cemetery in Longmont.
Mr. Humphreys was a postal carrier.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; one daughter, Kathy of Pflugerville, Texas; two brothers, Harry of Puyallup, Wash., and Louis Edward of Longmont; and one sister, Gwen Williams of Longmont.

• Bill E. Shouse Jr., 54, Glade Park, died Oct. 21, 2008, in Rio Blanco County.
Services will take place at 5 p.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Mr. Shouse was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Ann; two sons, Zachariah Wade and Jacob Zane, both of Glade Park; one daughter, Jordan Faith of Glade Park; his mother, Shirley Lucille of Texas; three brothers, Ronald of Texas, James of Florida and Gene Linder of Texas; and one sister, Donna Hutchinson of Texas.

Mrs. Silva was a dance instructor.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rifle. Services will take place at 1 p.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include her parents, Francisco and Anna Trejo; one brother, Cesar of Greeley; one sister, Lorena Ortega of Rifle; and a grandmother, Amalia Garcia of Mexico City, Mexico.
