• Robert R. Ary, 76, Meeker, died Oct. 26, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cochran Memorial Chapel in Meeker.
Mr. Ary was a retired Colowyo Coal Company employee.
Survivors include his wife, Marlyn; two sons, Robert of Meeker and Gene of Flower Mound, Texas; one daughter, Brenda Green of Beulah, N.D.; two brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

• Thomas C. Calvert Jr., 78, Grand Junction, died Oct. 25, 2008, at his home.
Services will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Interment will be at New Elmwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his son, Tom A. of Madison, Wis.; four daughters, Cherie Antenucci of Geneva, N.Y., Carol Calvert, Cathy Dalley and Chris Speakman, all of Grand Junction; and 10 grandchildren.

• Lydia Ann Carlson, 76, Grand Junction, died Oct. 27, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will take place at a later date.
Mrs. Carlson was a nursing assistant.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn and Daniel, both of Grand Junction; three daughters, Mary Ann Carlson of Montrose, and Jane Ridgley and Donna Wiggins, both of Grand Junction; one brother, Elvin Henderson of Washington; two sisters, Betty David of Virginia Beach, Va., and Ethel Newman of St. Louis; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

• Mary Hilda Fresquez, 96, Carbondale, died Oct. 27, 2008, at Heritage Park Care Center.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Farnum Holt Funeral Home in Glenwood Springs. Graveside services will follow at Rosebud Cemetery.
Mrs. Fesquez worked in Vail at the Plaza for Joseph Stauffer.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon and Paul; three daughters, Jo Huffman, Ruby Lopez and Norma Salaz; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
uE06E Charles Christopher Sickles, 38, Delta, died Oct. 27, 2008, at his home.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Delta.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Charles and Lea Sickles of Crawford; his grandmother, Venetta Ackerson of Hotchkiss; and twin sister, Tammy Ann Nelson of Arvada.
