James S. Cloninger, 91, Grand Junction, died Sept. 10, 2016, at the Veterans Affairs Community Living Center.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Redlands Community Church.

Survivors include one son, Keith of New Castle, two daughters, Denise Hugins, and Debi Lorenz, both of Durango; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Ronald R. Gibson, 63, Grand Junction, died Sept. 8, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will take place at a later date.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a paralympic athlete.

Survivors include two brothers, Donald E. Gibson of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, and Jon D. Gibson of Anchorage, Alaska; and four sisters, Bonita R. Schuster of Schaumburg, Illinois; Constance K. Gibson of Fort Worth, Texas, Tonya M. Leibfried of Potosi, Wisconsin, and Sonya S. Gibson of Platteville, Wisconsin.

Gabby Irma Morales, stillborn, Grand Junction, died Sept. 9, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday at Callahan Edfast Mortuary.

Survivors include her parents, Gabriel and Blancha Morales.

Phoenix M. Moses, stillborn, Grand Junction, died Aug. 31, 2016, at Community Hospital.

Services will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday at Victory Life Church.

Survivors include parents, Jeremy and Kristy Moses of Grand Junction; and two brothers, Kellen Pifer and Jacob Colt, both of Grand Junction.

Albert T. Nelson Sr., 88, Grand Junction, died Sept. 3, 2016, at LaVilla Grande Care Center.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Sept. 22 at Callahan Edfast Mortuary. Inurnment will follow at 3 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

He was a meter foreman for a utility company.

Survivors include three sons, Albert T. Jr. of Grand Junction, Lars of Clifton, and Don of Colorado Springs; three daughters, April Soranno of Conroe, South Carolina, JoAnn VanHorn of Wharton, Texas, and June Argul of Bayonne, New Jersey; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to the Salvation Army, 1235 N. 4th St., Grand Junction 81501.

William H. “Bill” Redden, 69, Hotchkiss, died Sept. 4, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

No services will take place.

Survivors include two sons, Kris of Casper, Wyoming, and Kelly of Grand Junction; one daughter, MattieSue Redden of Delta; one brother, Rick Redden of Oklahoma; and six grandchildren.

Theofiel “Phil” Bernard VanLondersele, 72, Grand Junction, died Sept. 8, 2016, in Grand Junction.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fruita.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea C.; one son, Theofiel B. III of Fruita; three daughters, Michele VanLondersele-Green of Grand Junction, Kelli McLean of Fruita, and Sheila Godkin of San Diego; one brother, Harry Lydick of Escondido, California; and eight grandchildren.
