Fortunato Diaz-Alejandro, 34, Fruita, died Sept. 8, 2012, in Grand Junction.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Fruita Funeral Home. A rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mr. Diaz-Alejandro was an orchard farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Delfina DelaCruz; four daughters, Julie Sonya Diaz, Julia Marybel Diaz, Rebeca Diaz, Rosa Elva Diaz; and his mother, Luz Aracelia Diaz.
Alvin F. Buchholz, 86, Grand Junction, died Sept. 14, 2012, at his home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the American Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
He is survived by four sons, Brad of Grand Junction, Doyle of San Diego, Ronnie of Loveland and Gregory of Concord, Calif.; one brother, Marvin of Lakewood; one sister, Ruby Butterfield of Lakewood; and three grandchildren.

Betty E. Carrick, 82, Grand Junction, died Sept. 12, 2012, at Larchwood Inns.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary and from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial to follow at New Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Drumm of Quinn, Texas, and Duane Drumm of Grand Junction; three daughters, Dawn McCalla of Pinckney, Mich., Robin Maybow of Springfield, Mo., and Vernetta Hosler of Nunica, Mich.; one brother, Bob Waldecker of Roanoke, Va.; one sister, Marie Zurbo of Southgate, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Leo P. Sanchez, 86, Grand Junction, died Sept. 1, 2012, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
He is survived by one brother, John of Grand Junction; and two sisters, Ernestina Salas and Carolina Valencia, both of Grand Junction.
Oscar Hill Terry III, 69, Whitewater, died Sept. 10, 2012, at his home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Mortuary. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Victory Life Church in Fruita, with burial to follow.
Mr. Terry was an equipment operator, farmer and rancher.
He is survived by his wife, Myrna Joy Terry; one son, Myron of Grand Junction; one daughter, Monette Baldwin of Grand Junction; one brother, Donnie of Coleman, Texas; two sisters, Margie Smith of Midland, Texas, and Frankie Quinn of Abilene, Texas; and six grandchildren.

Mary C. Vigil, 78, Grand Junction, died Sept. 12, 2012, at her home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a rosary at 7, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Ms. Vigil was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Fred, Paul and Mark, all of Grand Junction; three daughters, Anna Lueras of Fruita, Janet Medina of Rangely and Connie Marquez of Grand Junction; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
