■ Marion Ellen Barnes, 49, Delta, died Aug. 28, 2012, at her home.
No services are planned.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff; one son, Cody of Delta; one daughter, Theresa Mellon of Clifton; one sister, Sheri White of Alabama; two stepfathers, David Brice of Gulfport, Miss., and Don Westerberg of San Diego; one grandchild; and one step-grandchild.
■ Dale C. Lupton, 77, Norwood, died Aug. 30, 2012, at Montrose Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Norwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Lorna; one son, Dale C. Jr. of Fairbanks, Alaska; one daughter, Carol McKeever of Durango; one brother, Eric of Washington; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

■ Edward J. Settle, 67, Grand Junction, died Aug. 27, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthews Church with reception to follow.
Mr. Settle was a civil engineer.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; two sons, Jason and Joseph, both of Grand Junction; one brother, Bill of Grand Junction; and one sister, Kathy Adolf of Grand Junction.

■ Carol Smith, 63, Grand Junction, died Aug. 28, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Randy; one son, Richard Etcheverry of Grand Junction; one daughter, Christina Segers of Grand Junction; and 10 grandchildren.
