Richard C. Blomquist Sr., 75, Grand Junction, died Sept. 16, 2016, in Grand Junction.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hayden Exhibit Hall in Hayden.

He was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his wife, Glenna; three sons, Richard “Bud” of Hayden, Scotty and Lee, both of Craig; one daughter, Cheryl of Grand Junction; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Ronnie Dale Crosser, 57, Grand Junction, died Sept. 9, 2016, at HopeWest and Hospice Care.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. today at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

He was a disc jockey.

Survivors include three daughters, Amy of Nebraska, Heather of Kansas, and Rebecca of Colorado; his parents, Ray and Verna Simms of Eugene, Oregon, and his stepmother, Bridgitte of Grand Junction; and two brothers, Darrien Simms and Roy L. Simms, both of Oregon.

Doris Arlene Denny, 76, Grand Junction, died Sept. 17, 2016, at Palisades Living Center.

Services will take place at a later date.

She was a file clerk.

Survivors include one son, Allen Wagner of Milliken; one daughter, Laura Fogg of Loma; one sister, Betty Talbott of Colorado Springs; and two grandchildren.

Joan E. Johnson, 86, Grand Junction, died Sept. 18, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m. today at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will take place at noon Wednesday at Landmark Baptist Church. Private interment will be at Delta Municipal Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas; two sons, James Milon Worgan III of Porterville, California, and John Mark Worgan of Denver; two daughters, Janalynne Kilgo of Buckeye, Arizona, and Joyann Meserve of North Richland Hills, Texas; five stepchildren; two brothers, Louis and Harold Hummel, both of Rocklin, California; two sisters, Betty Bradford of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Helen Katz of Rock Hill, New York; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren.

Dorthy L. Jones, 92, Grand Junction, died Sept. 11, 2016, at her home.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. today at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Robert E. of Gualala, California; two daughters, Sharon Nesbitt and Patricia Dotson, both of Grand Junction; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Lenny Dale Miller, 73, Grand Junction, died Sept. 16, 2016, at his home.

No services are planned at this time.

He was a heavy equipment mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon A.; three sons, Mitchell and Lenny, both of Grand Junction, and Troy Mitchell of Denver; his mother, Velma Mitchell of Grand Junction; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Betty Sharp, 79, Delta, died Sept. 14, 2016.

Private services will take place. 

Survivors include her husband, Paul R.; two daughters, Diane Folsom and Patricia Wilkerson; and five grandchildren.
