■ Edith L. Scherck, 94, Plainview, Texas, died Sept. 17, 2012, in Plainview.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Molina Baptist Church in Molina, with burial at Eagalite Cemetery in Collbran.

Survivors include one son, Donald E. of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Beverly E. Hadley of Plainview and Susan J. Garrett of Tunbridge Wells, England; five sisters, Miriam Wiggins, Elaine McGarvey, Rachel Laughter, Shirley Laughter and Barbara Davis; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

■ Bobbie Strickler, 81, Grand Junction, died Sept. 20, 2012, at her home.

A private service is planned at a later date.

Survivors include one son, James of Tigard, Ore.; one daughter, Chris Billings of Grand Junction; one brother, Raymond Schippers of Bakersfield, Calif.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
