Marcella “Marie” Bechard, 91, Grand Junction, died Sept. 26, 2017, at the Palisades Living Center.

No services will take place.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Martin of Denver, Armand of Conway, Missouri, and Paul of Spokane, Washington; four daughters, Linda Bechard, and Joann VanValkenburgh, both of Grand Junction, Anita Blickhahn of Del Norte, and Clarene Weisbord of Dale City, Virginia; one brother, Chris Fellhoelter of California; 33 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and eight great great-grandchildren.

Mariah Loya, 22, Grand Junction, died Sept. 23, 2017.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Grand Valley Funeral Home chapel. Services will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Survivors include her parents, Robert Castillo and Lorraine Dores, both of Grand Junction; two brothers, Mark Dores, and Brian Vasquez, both of Grand Junction; and one sister, Naomi Dores.

Memorial donations to the Loya family.

Larry Dale McKay, 66, Fruita, died Sept. 25, 2017, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

No services will take place.

He worked for the state parks.

Survivors include two daughters, Ana McKay of Fruita, and Jenna McKay of Grand Junction; one brother, Dennis McKay of Hamilton, Illinois; and one sister, Janet Amann of Hamilton.

Memorial contributions to the Veterans Cemetery Fund, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction 81501.

Steven Donald O’Dwyer, 73, Grand Junction, died Sept. 24, 2017, in Grand Junction.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2881 Orchard Ave.

He was a mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; two sons, Paul of Monticello, Utah, and Bobby Howell of Mesa, Arizona; five daughters, Cathy Taylor of San Jose, California, Valarie Richards of San Tan, Arizona, Cheryl Ferguson of Grand Junction, Molly O’Dwyer of Durham, North Carolina, and Laurie Duncan of Mesa, Arizona; two brothers, Jerry O’Dwyer, and Dennis O’Dwyer, both of Grand Junction; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Marilyn M. Pearson, 90, Grand Junction, died Sept. 24, 2017, in Grand Junction.

Services will take place at 3 p.m. Oct. 21 at Shepard of the Valley Lutheran Church.

She was a medical technologist and office manager.

Survivors include two sons, Jeff of Grand Junction, and Richard; one daughter, Cindy Pearson of Grand Junction; and five grandchildren.
