Hope Denton, 93, Grand Junction, died April 14, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.

Survivors include four sons, Jim of Steamboat Springs, Jay of Yuma, Ariz., Rance of Denver and Craig of Phoenix; one daughter, Jan of Grand Junction; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

La Vern Allen Hubbard, 84, Grand Junction, died Dec. 8, 2009, in Aurora. Inurnment will be 1 p.m. Friday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction. Services follow at 2:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Hubbard was a retired maintenance worker for the United States Postal Service.

Survivors include one son, Gary of Highlands Ranch; two daughters, Sharon Ellerback of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Shirley Krenzke of Grafton, Wis.; two brothers, Herman of Dubuque, Iowa, and James of Boulder; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ralph Lowell McDonald, 84, Grand Junction, died April 19, 2010, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.

Mr. McDonald was a geologist for the United States government.

Survivors include one son, Ralph Norman of Hickory, N.C.; one daughter, Linda Lee Eckert of Lancaster, Calif.; one brother, Robert Wayne of Three Rivers, Mich.; and six grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Grand Junction Rotary Club or St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.

Hubert T. Parkinson, 90, Delta, died April 20, 2010, at Willow Tree Care Center. Services are pending through Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys; two sons, Larry of North Carolina and Gary of Boulder; one stepson, Bud Webb of Florida; one daughter, Tammy Lambert of Idaho; one stepdaughter, Cheryl Sperry of Delta; one sister, Ramona Parkinson of Delta; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
