Gary Edward Anderson, 57, Delta, died Dec. 21, 2009, at his home. Services will be held at a later date.

Martin Brezonick, 91, Somerset, died Dec. 19, 2009, at Paonia Care and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 2 at the American Legion in Paonia.
Survivors include two sons, Gary of Hotchkiss and Mike of Paonia; one daughter, Linda Drake of Hotchkiss; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Vern Byers, 75, Paonia, died Dec. 19, 2009, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Taylor Funeral Service in Delta. Burial will follow at Mesa View Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Rose; two sons, Mike of Paonia and Bill Calder of Nevada City, Calif.; three daughters, Betty Calder of Fort Bragg, Calif., Michelle Cumpston of Paonia and Cheryl Pingel of Benton City, Wash.; three brothers, Bob and Clarence, both of Olathe and Donald of Grand Junction; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
LaWanna Chancey, 81, Grand Junction, died Dec. 22, 2009, at Mantey Heights Rehabilitation and Care Center. Services are pending.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Swain of Paradox.
Donald W. DaLee, 79, Montrose, died Dec. 21, 2009, at a Montrose nursing home. Private family services will be held this week.
Mr. DaLee was a businessman.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; one daughter, Rhonda Skiff; two sisters, Erma Jean Allen and Bobbie Bradford; and five grandchildren.
David Wayne Lee Sr., 49, Grand Junction, died Dec. 21, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Services are pending.
Survivors include his wife, Ladonna; two sons, Chase of Federal Way, Wash., and David Jr. of Lakewood; two daughters, Cindy Lee of Grand Junction and Tiffany Lee of Federal Way, Wash.; his mother, Grace Lee of Clifton; three brothers, James Lee and John Markel, both of Lakewood, and Kevin Markel of Brandon, Fla.; one sister, Debbie Lee of Clifton; and three grandchildren.

Clayton Scott Mills, 58, Austin, died Dec. 19, 2009, at home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Delta. Burial will follow at Cory Cemetery.
Mr. Mills was a farmer and employed by Bowie Resources.
Survivors include his wife, Faye; one son, Aaron of Cedaredge; one daughter, Katie Mills Vert of Austin; his mother, June, of Austin; and four grandchildren.

Shawna Loretta Palmer, 38, Cedaredge, died Dec. 21, 2009, at Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cedaredge.
Survivors include one son, Dillon Donald Reed of Cedaredge; her parents, Stephen and Sharon Palmer of Cedaredge; three sisters, Leslie Johnson of Fruita, Sonya Palmer of Seattle, Wash., and Sandra Toolson of Grand Junction.
Juanita C. Schafer, 86, Grand Junction, died Dec. 19, 2009. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3076 E 1/2 Road. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; one son, Jim Cooper of Fort Worth, Texas; and one sister, Linda of Albuquerque, N.M.

Elvera Winters, 96, Grand Junction, died Dec. 21, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Martin Mortuary. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens.
