Kevin M. Cooney, 56, Grand Junction, died Jan. 18, 2011, at his home.

Services will be at 1 p.m.  Feb. 26 at Redlands Community Church.

Mr. Cooney was a financial planner.

Survivors include four daughters, Irish Turnage of Lakewood and Sage Cooney, Dara Cooney and Shea Cooney, all of Fruita; his father, Gerald of Denver; two brothers, Mark of Arvada and Peter of Centennial; four sisters, Maura Cooney of Denver, Michaela Cooney-Polstra of Niwot, Dara Bartel of Arvada, and Barbara Cooney of Santa Fe, N.M.; and two grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Cooney Children Memorial Fund, in care of Alpine Bank.

Lois Leora Halvordson, 88, Grand Valley, died Feb. 11, 2011, at Family Health West Nursing Home.

Cremation will take place.

She was a jazz pianist.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Lee Parman of Colorado and Stephen Andrew Parman of Grand Junction; one daughter, Elizabeth Anne Kinney of Cottonwood, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

George Wallace Hedrick Jr., 86, Palisade, died Feb. 11, 2011, at Palisades Living Center.

Private family services are planned.

Mr. Hedrick was a police officer.

Survivors include his wife, Ella M. of Rifle; two sons, George Wallace III of Parker and Kenneth Hittle of Ephraim, Utah; three daughters Beverly Hedrick of Nashville, Tenn., Marion Hooks of Greeley and Lana Keisel of Cave Creek, Ariz.; one brother, Paul of Sumerco, W. Va.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association, 2232 N. Seventh St., Suite B1, Grand Junction 81501.

John Mikula, 96, Grand Junction, died Feb. 11, 2011, at Hospice Care Center.

Cremation will take place.

Mr. Mikula was a steel foreman.

Survivors include one daughter, Maxine Schafer of Grand Junction, five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Marie M. Moore, 89, Parker, died Feb. 7, 2011, at Cherry Creek Nursing Center in Aurora.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Martin Mortuary.

Services will be at 11 a.m.  Tuesday at the mortuary, followed by burial at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include one daughter, Denna Hogan of Parker.
