Virginia Amos, 84, Fruita, died July 24, 2010, at Family Health West.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Monument Valley Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Ms. Amos was a retired beautician.

Survivors include one son, Fred Davis of Napa, Calif.; one sister, Pat Jeffery of Canon City; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

James Lee Fletcher, 59, died July 17, 2010.

Services are 3 p.m., Aug. 6 at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Fletcher was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his mother, Jouise Fletcher of Delta, Utah; one brother, Allen of Westminster; and one sister, Sue of Delta, Utah.

Jake Higgins, 27, Grand Junction, died July 25, 2010.

Services are 5 p.m. Thursday at his parents’ home.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Carla of Grand Junction; two brothers, Mac Higgins and Ryan Marsh, both of Grand Junction; and one sister, Rusty Gallagher of Grand Junction.

Doris Vondette, 88, Grand Junction, died July 26, 2010, at Larchwood Inns.

Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Pear Park Baptist Church. Burial follows at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle. Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Martin Mortuary.

Survivors include one son, Richard of Grand Junction; two daughters, Donna Brown of Grand Junction and Karen Vondette of Rifle; five brothers, Robert McDaniel, Rodney McDaniel, Floyd McDaniel, Donald McDaniel and Vernon McDaniel; one sister, Ethel Stout; and eight grandchildren.
