James C. “Jay” Adam, 89, Crawford, died June 2, 2011, at his home.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Adam Ranch in Crawford.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa; five sons, Nathan and Devin, both of Crawford, Jesseb of Wichita, Kan., Michael of New Mexico and James of Texas; three daughters, Amy Jo Gabbert, Julie and Tracy, all of Texas; four sisters, Peggy of Kansas City, Mo., June, Betty Notson and Mary Smiley, all of Emporia, Kan., one brother, Dick of Sonoma, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Michael Scott Chism, 53, Rangely, died June 5, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Rangely Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife Barbara S., one son, Michael S. of Rangely; two daughters, Mandi D. Smuts, and Megan M. Chism, both of Rangely; three sisters, Roni J. Branham of Wheatland, Wyo., Tavanne R. Burch of Craig and Denise Y. Lovins of Rangely; and three grandchildren.
Irma R. Martin, 92, Fruita, died June 4, 2011, at Eagle Ridge Care Center in Grand Junction.
Private services will be at a later date.
Survivors include three sons, George Psenda of Fruita, Richard Psenda of Houston, Texas and Kermit Smith of Flagstaff, Ariz.; six daughters, Kay Loueen Tomlin of Billings, Mont., Evelyn Hazelwood of Santaquin, Utah; Bonnie Teninity of Fruita, Connie Greco of Grand Junction, Vonnie Lowry of Sandy, Utah and Fairleen Brady of Grand Junction; 32 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Donsa L. Miner, 50, Grand Junction died June 5, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Moose Lodge.
Ms. Miner was a customer service representative for a retail store.
Survivors include two daughters, Rebeka Miner and Octava Rhodes both of Grand Junction; parents, Lawrence and DeVota Goad of Fruita; four sisters, Barbara Jarvis of Radcliffe, Ky., Tammy Palmer of Loma, Rulynn Spangler of Gelnn Allen, Alaska and Aleita Sanders of Mancos; and four grandchildren.
Stephen A. Parmen, 57, Grand Junction, died June 6, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will be at a later date.
Mr. Parmen was a musician.
Survivors include his wife, Velvet G.E. O’Sullivan of Grand Junction; one brother, Jeff Parmen; and one sister, Elizabeth Kinney of Cottonwood, Ariz.

Jean Phillips, 87, Grand Junction, died June 4, 2011, at her home.
No services are planned.
Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Mike of Palm Harbor, Fla.; one daughter, Denise Phillips of Grand Junction; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Brian Dane Rogers, 54, Grand Junction, died June 5, 2011, at Hospice Care Center.
Rogers had been earning a Ph.d in educational philosophy.
Cathryn Ann Snow, 59, Grand Junction, died June 4, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mountain View Bible Church in Lazear.
Survivors include her husband, Denzial; one son, Christopher of Grand Junction; two daughters, Sara Stephens of Rifle and Melanie Snow of Grand Junction; mother, Naomi Tackett of Bernalillo, N.M., one brother, B.G. Tackett of Sacramento, Calif.; and one sister, Holly Daniels of Tracy, Calif.
