Raymond Robert Jor “Bobby” Blackman, 36, Grand Junction, died March 6, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

A service will be at 1 p.m. today at Callahan Edfast Mortuary Chapel. A private interment is at the Blackman Family Cemetery in Collbran.

Survivors include two sons, Michael and Justin, both of Grand Junction; his mother, Patricia Castle of Grand Junction; and one sister, Jenny Lynn Blackman of Grand Junction.

Phyllis Aaronlea Bole, 90, Grand Junction, died March 8, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.

A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Canyon West Worship Center in Fruita.

Survivors include two sons, Calvin of Phoenix and Gary of Draper, Utah; one daughter, Leah Hayward of Grand Junction; 12 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

Francis B. Colby, 90, Grand Junction, died March 7, 2010, at Larchwood Inns.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Martin Mortuary and 2 p.m. March 19 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.

Mr. Colby was a research lab technician in porcelain and ceramics.

Survivors include one son, James E. of Beverly Hill, Fla.; one brother, Donald of Worland, Wyo.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

William “Ron” Coleman, 80, Eckert, died March 8, 2010.

A service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Taylor Funeral Home in Delta.

Survivors include his wife, Leslye; two sons, Randell of the Philippines and Terris of Sacramento, Calif.; three daughters, Rhonda Jenkins of Austin, Texas, Vicky Coleman of Dallas and Rochelle Alberti of Richmond, Va.; one stepson, Daniel Unrein of Montrose; one brother, Richard Douglas of Molina; and two sisters, Alice Joyce of Coolidge, Kan., and Sandra Ann of Grand Junction.

James L. Hampton, 74, Palisade, died March 9, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Palisade United Methodist Church.

Mr. Hampton was an entomologist in agriculture.

Survivors include his wife Mary Faye; one son, Gordon of Longmont; one daughter, Dorothy Feil of Grand Junction; one brother, John White of Palisade; three sisters, Janice Nisbet of Palisade, Sally McGrew of Goldhill, Ore., Marjorie Smith of Tolar, Texas; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Samuel Terry Johnson, 60, Montrose, died March 7, 2010, at his home.

A service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Montrose Christian Church. Cremation has taken place.

Survivors include his wife, Glennith; two sons, Jeff and Ted, both of Montrose; one stepson, Matthew Daniels of Grand Junction; one stepdaughter, Alicia Daniels of Montrose; one brother, Troy Johnson of Montrose; and six grandchildren.

Helen L. Pifer, 104, Clifton, died March 8, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Orchard Mesa Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Pifer was a deputy county clerk.

Survivors include two sons, Edward E. of Grand Junction and Richard L. of Clifton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
