Bessie “Muzzy” Denny, 77, Grand Junction, died March 12, 2011, at Hospice Care Center.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at American Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Ms. Denny was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Ruth DeWitt of Grand Junction and Veronica Holt and Jane Broadway, both of Copperas Cove, Texas; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Vera E. (Yager) Foss, 96, Palisade, died March 12, 2011, at her home.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Palisade. Private inurnment will be at Palisade Municipal Cemetery.

Survivors include one son,  John Richard of Clifton; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Betty Sue Lawson, 86, Grand Junction, died March 9, 2011, at Hospice Care Center.

No services are planned.

Survivors include her husband, Tom; three sons, Daryl Weisentein of Denver, Jerry Weisentein of Littleton and Thomas B. Lawson of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Carol Clark of Port Angeles, Wash.; and two grandchildren.

Former Grand Junction resident Justin Cody Moss, 16, Wiggins, died March 11, 2011, in Fort Morgan.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Heer and Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Survivors include his father,  Steven, and his stepmother,  Rita, of Wiggins; two brothers,  Steven Moss Jr. of Grand Junction and Chase Barton of Salina, Utah; four sisters, Lacie Moss of Grand Junction, Lisa King of Anchorage, Alaska, Brandy K. Gale of Elsinore, Utah, and Casey Barton of Salt Lake City.

Raymond Joseph Schuster, 78, Palisade, died March 12, 2011, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Columbarium in Grand Junction.

Mr. Schuster was a civil and mining engineer.

Survivors include his wife,  Janine; one son, Jeff of Highlands Ranch; five daughters,  Katie Sickles of Cedaredge, Sandy Schuster of Chesterbrook, Pa., Sue Ayotte of Fort Collins, Julie Crocco of Price, Utah, and Gail Schuster of Denver; three brothers, Leo and Bruce, both of Denver, and Leroy of Beloit, Kan.; one sister, Arline Young of Denver; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Mesa County Spellbinders, in care of Mesa County Library, P.O. Box 3668, Grand Junction 81502.

Norman G. Sumney, 84, Grand Junction, died March 9, 2011, at Aspen Ridge Alzheimer’s Center.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Uniopolis, Ohio.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl K. Ferguson of Grand Junction and Cathy L. Dula of Merritt Island, Fla.; one sister, Jean Sutton of Lima; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
