Jennifer DeCrow, 34, Fruita, died May 7, 2011, in Fruita.

Services will take place at New Elmwood Cemetery and are pending with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Survivors include daughters Madison DeCrow and Natalie Plummer, both of Fruita; parents Louis and Debra, both of Fruita; and brother Mitchell of Grand Junction.

Maria H. Kille, 89, Grand Junction, died May 6, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

No services will take place. Mrs. Kille will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

Mrs. Kille was a registered nurse.

Survivors include a son, Dieter Fieler of Germany, and a brother, Hans-Peter Boxleitner of Germany.

Former Grand Junction resident Paul Duane “P.D.” Maxwell, 71, Topach, Ariz., died May 7, 2011, at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas.

Services are pending with Martin Mortuary.

Lois R. Starbuck, 83, Grand Junction, died May 7, 2011, at Family Health West.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Burial will take place at Rangely Cemetery at a later date.

Survivors include a son, David of Elko, Nev.; a daughter, Susan Dempsey of Rangely; sister Barbara Foster of Simi Valley, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Connie Earl Stayton, 86, Austin, died May 8, 2011, at his home.

Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta. Services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, followed by burial at Cory Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby, and a sister, Becky Riemensnider of Killeen, Texas.

Neil Eugene Whalen, 79, Grand Junction, died May 7, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, followed by burial at Mesa Cemetery.

Mr. Whalen was an HVAC engineer at the Colorado State Regional Center.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn; seven daughters, Helen Stanton of Clifton, Deborah Ernst of Montrose, Lorraine Sheley of Fruita, Katherine Owens of Greenbrier, Ark., and Diana Whalen, Patricia Wallace, and Susan DeForest, all of Grand Junction; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pauline M. Young, 86, Delta, died May 5, 2011, at Delta County Memorial Hospital.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paonia, followed by burial at Bethlehem Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Pobirk of Crawford and Charlotte Morrell of Paonia; a brother, Earl Foreman of Loomis, Calif.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund, c/o Bishop Steve Bayles.
