Caleb “Dan” Burris, 57, Grand Junction, died May 28, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.
Services are pending with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
He worked in construction.
Survivors include two sons, Jared Burris and Jake Williams, both of Grand Junction; two daughters, Angela Thompson of Fruita and Shauna Burris of St. Louis; two brothers, Keneth Burris of New Castle, Ind., and Tommy Burris of Munice, Ind.; four sisters, Dean Billman of Michigan, Lela Pinder of Winchester, Ind., Lydia Patten of Bowling Green, Ky., and Mary Pippin of Covington, Ind.; and four grandchildren.

Hildegard Kemper, 86, Grand Junction, died May 23, 2010.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Messiah Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Henry; two sons, Frank and Norbert; one brother, Helmut Mosig; and three grandchildren.
Grace Mantlo, 64, Bullhead City, Ariz., died May 27, 2010, at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. Services will be at a later date in Grand Junction.
Survivors include her husband, Lavern; one son, Todd Mantlo of Grand Junction; one daughter, Wendy Stone of Commerce City; one brother, Mike Vandam of Fruita; one sister, Betty Shumway of Blanding, Utah; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Adrennia Isabel Merling, 93, Grand Junction, died May 25, 2010, at Aspen Ridge.
Private services are planned.
Ms. Merling worked with quaterhorse breeding and racing.
Waldon E. Philbrook, 76, Clifton, died May 28, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.
He was a former police chief in Steamboat Springs.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Mimi” A.; two sons, Robert Trost of Rifle and Mark Trost of California; one daughter, Mary Anne Sedlacek of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Janice I. Selan, 83, Grand Junction, died May 26, 2010, at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Clifton Christian Church.
Mrs. Selan was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Frederick F. Selan, Jr. of Craig; three daughters, Deborah J. Gaurmer and Tracilee D. Swihart, both of Grand Junction, and Sandra K. Helfer of Springfield, Ill.; one sister, Jessie Odneal of Tempe, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
